WIN A CAT® 301.5 EXCAVATOR PROMOTION
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. Promoter
The promoter of this trade promotion is William Adams Pty Ltd ABN 72 009 569 493 of 17–55 Nantilla Road, Clayton VIC 3168 (“Promoter”).
Information on how to enter and prize details form part of these Terms and Conditions. Participation in this promotion constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Promotional Period
The promotion commences at 12:01am AEST on 1 June 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEDT on 31 October 2026 (“Promotional Period”).
Entries received outside the Promotional Period will not be accepted.
3. Eligibility
Entry is open to residents of Victoria and Tasmania who are aged 18 years or over at the time of entry.
Employees, officers, directors, contractors and agents of the Promoter and its related entities, participating dealers, agencies associated with the promotion, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, “immediate family member” includes a spouse, de facto partner, parent, child, sibling or grandparent.
4. How to Enter
To enter the promotion, eligible entrants must during the Promotional Period:
a) Purchase twenty (20) litres or more of eligible Cat® oil products in a single transaction from a participating William Adams branch or online via Parts.cat.com/williamadams or via the Cat Central app; and
b) Provide valid customer account details at the time of purchase.
Entrants will receive:
- One (1) entry into the draw for every qualifying purchase of twenty (20) litres or more of eligible Cat® oil products; and
- Two (2) bonus entries for qualifying purchases completed online through Parts.Cat.Com or Cat Central.
Transactions completed through guest checkout, cash sales where customer account details are not provided, or purchases that cannot be verified by the Promoter will not be eligible.
Multiple entries are permitted provided each entry is associated with a separate qualifying transaction.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify all purchases and entries.
5. Eligible Products
Eligible products include Cat® oil products purchased in quantities of twenty (20) litres or greater from participating William Adams locations or authorised channels during the Promotional Period.
The Promoter reserves the right to determine product eligibility and may exclude products from the promotion at its absolute discretion.
6. Prize
There is one (1) prize to be won.
The prize consists of:
- One (1) new Cat® 301.5 Mini Excavator;
- Twelve (12) months Cat Premier Warranty (subject to Caterpillar warranty terms and conditions);
- One (1) Cat coupler;
- Three (3) bucket attachments comprising:
- 300mm bucket;
- 460mm bucket; and
- 1000mm bucket;
- One (1) custom Cat Oils branded wrap professionally applied to the prize excavator.
The total prize pool value is approximately AUD $42,000 (including GST).
The prize value is based on the recommended retail value at the commencement date of the promotion. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any variation in the value of the prize after that date.
The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.
The winner acknowledges that the custom Cat Oils branded wrap forms part of the prize package and may contain promotional branding associated with Cat Oils, Caterpillar and the Promoter.
The Promoter reserves the right to substitute the prize, or any component of the prize, with a prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make it necessary to do so.
7. Prize Collection, Ownership and Use
The winner is responsible for all costs associated with collecting, transporting, registering, licensing, insuring, maintaining and operating the prize unless expressly stated otherwise.
The prize must be collected from a location nominated by the Promoter within a reasonable timeframe following acceptance of the prize.
Ownership of the prize will transfer to the winner upon collection or delivery of the prize and completion of any documentation reasonably required by the Promoter.
The winner is responsible for ensuring they comply with all applicable laws, regulations, licences, training requirements and workplace safety obligations associated with the operation of the excavator.
The winner acknowledges that they are responsible for ensuring that any person operating the prize excavator is appropriately trained, competent and complies with all applicable workplace health and safety requirements, laws and regulations.
8. Prize Draw
The draw will take place at William Adams Pty Ltd, 17–55 Nantilla Road, Clayton VIC 3168 on or before 30 November 2026.
The draw will be conducted using a random draw process from all eligible entries received during the Promotional Period.
The first valid entry drawn will be declared the winner.
9. Winner Notification and Publication
The winner will be notified by telephone and/or email within five (5) business days of the draw.
The winner’s name, suburb and state may be published on the Promoter’s website, social media channels, internal communications, marketing materials and may be announced at the William Adams Christmas Party or other promotional events.
The winner agrees to participate in reasonable publicity and promotional activities associated with the promotion without additional compensation.
10. Prize Claim
The winner must claim the prize within thirty (30) days of notification.
If the winner does not claim the prize within that period, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct an unclaimed prize draw.
11. Unclaimed Prize Draw
If required, an unclaimed prize draw will be conducted at the same location as the original draw on or before 31 December 2026.
Any redraw winner will be notified within five (5) business days of the redraw.
12. Verification and Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, purchases and entrants at any time.
The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who:
- Provides false or misleading information;
- Tampers with the entry process;
- Breaches these Terms and Conditions; or
- Engages in conduct that may compromise the fair and proper conduct of the promotion.
The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer rights under the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) or any other rights that cannot be excluded by law.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Promoter and its related entities are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, expense or claim suffered or incurred by an entrant arising directly or indirectly from participation in the promotion or acceptance and use of the prize.
14. Force Majeure and Promotion Changes
If the promotion cannot be conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any event beyond the Promoter’s reasonable control, including but not limited to technical failures, fraud, government restrictions, natural disasters or other force majeure events, the Promoter reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel the promotion, subject to applicable laws.
15. Privacy
The Promoter collects personal information for the purposes of administering this promotion, verifying eligibility, awarding prizes and conducting related marketing activities.
By entering the promotion, entrants consent to the collection, use and disclosure of their personal information in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy.
Entrants may opt out of receiving future marketing communications at any time.
16. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
Entrants submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
17. Compliance with Applicable Laws
This promotion is conducted in Victoria and is open to eligible residents of Victoria and Tasmania only.
The Promoter will conduct the promotion in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations in force at the time of the promotion.
18. Acceptance
By participating in this promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
